First female winner of Game Chef of the Year

Lorna McNee, a young chef at the top of her game, from Andrew Fairlie’s restaurant, is announced the first female winner of Game Chef of the Year, annual competition ran by Braehead Foods Ltd.

Her victory was well deserved after a cook off on Monday, fighting for the once in a lifetime prize – a trip to Sweden to shoot wild boar. The cook off took place at The Cook School Scotland, with Chef Paul Gayler and Ian McAndrew being amongst the celebrated judges. Lorna McNee made history on Monday and has catapulted the competition into a new light.
