Highland Game supplies venison at the annual Catering in Scotland Excellence Awards dinner

Highland Game supplied venison for the main course at the annual Catering in Scotland Excellence Awards dinner, held on Thursday the 24th of May at Glasgow Hilton.

It was the second year in a row that Highland Games venison was chosen for the main course. 2012 was the 9th CIS Excellence Awards and 450 Chefs and food industry guests attended the gala dinner.

The main course was Roasted Venison Loin, Braised Haunch and Shallot Pie with a Truffle Mash, Wild Mushroom & Savoy Cabbage Bon Bon, Sticky Red Cabbage and an Arran Mustard Café au Lait.

The Highland Game team was thrilled to be seated next to the Chef of the Year, Brian Maule, Chardon d’Or, Glasgow. Highland Game wishes to congratulate and salute Brian who is an outstanding Ambassador for Scottish produce.
