Highland Game & Tesco at the Taste of Grampian

Maxine Clark, Highland Game’s food writer & food stylist, did two cookery demonstrations at the Taste of Grampian event, for Tesco.

Maxine cooked, venison steak with garlic butter, a new larger 150g steak this time which will go on promotion in Tesco , Scotland end of June. For the moment Tesco is running a burger promotion and Maxine show cased how you can serve burgers and grill steaks in new exiting ways; you can make venison flat bread and fill it with beans, salad & herbs or why not serve your burger or grillsteak in a pita pocket with rocket salad and Tsatsiki.

This popular annual one day event which, took take place for the seventeenth time on Saturday 4th June 2016, and it allowed visitors to discover and sample the wide range of high quality food and drink products from Grampian in the North East of Scotland to visitors from throughout Scotland.The festival programme also includes music, children’s entertainment, arts & crafts, cookery competitions and demonstrations and our celebrity chefs and guests will ensure a fun packed day for all.
