I have heard that Venison might have a strong taste. Is that correct?
Highland Game’s Venison is not strong at all but in fact very fresh and has a natural taste all of its own. We believe it does not improve greatly by hanging. Highland Games fresh wild Venison goes through a natural hanging process of 3-5 days.
