Highland Game proud sponsors of culinary venison masterpieces at Bocuse D'Or world final event - the most prestigious cooking event in the world.

Highland Game are proud to have supported Team Great Britain at the Bocuse D'or World final in Lyon, 26-27th January 2025. This event is held bi-annually and is the culmination of of two-years of competitions involving 70 different countries across four continents. 

Every year since 1987, the best chefs from around the world are pitted against each other, the Bocuse D'or.

In total 24 international teams took part in the final cook-off against the clock over two days where ground breaking and imaginative dishes are all prepared to a panel of experts.

As part of the final presentation, the candidates had five and half hours to make a platter consisting of a dish and three garnishes around venison, foie gras and tea.

The venison roe deer meat we sponsored contributed to the culinary masterpieces that Tom, Harry & Ian produced in Team UK delivering a remarkable 5th place behind France the winners, second place to Denmark and third place to Sweden.
