GWCT Auction 8th of May

The annual Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Scottish Dinner Auction took place in Edinburgh at Prestonfield House Hotel on Thursday 8th May.

Highland Game, for the fourth year, very kindly donated the venison for the dinner, this year they produced loin of roe deer buck.  This was beautifully prepared by the Chef at Prestonfield and was served infused with Douglas Fir and accompanied by venison haggis, spring onion and sour cream mash, glazed beetroot, peppered spinach and game chips.  

The event was attended by 420 people who greatly enjoyed this wonderful food and the convivial atmosphere, and through the live and silent auctions helped raise a total of over £139,000 for the GWCT over the course of the evening.
