Highland Game at the Royal Highland Show

Highland Game was invited by Tesco to do a tasting and a mini cookery demonstration at the Royal Highland Show on Saturday 22d of June.

Our product development Chef, Dave Gannon had prepared venison meatballs in a Spanish style tomato sauce which was served tapas style.

It was a tasty family friendly dish and it got thumbs up from consumers of all ages.

The next dish of the day was a traditional Stroganoff with mushrooms, cream & mustard sauce using diced venison on this occasion. A delicious dish that works all year around.

To crown our tasting day, Dave cooked the top of the range, Loin of Venison served with a port, red currant & rosemary reduction. We nearly had to set up a number system for the queues lining up.

Our team at the show were pleased with the feedback and thanks Tesco for a well organized event.
